Work Scope
Installation of approximately 16,665 LF of new 12” x 0.375 WT” API 5L X52 steel natural gas transmission pipeline. Majority of the work was within SCDOT ROW and TWS on private easement. 4078’ of HDDs, with two installed under Hwy 501. SEC was asked to design all HDDs on the project. Work was along the busy Hwy 501.
The pipeline route crossed over entrances to restaurants and a mall. This required careful scheduling around holidays to ensure there was no negative impact to traffic in and out of businesses.
